The rite
Shop opening puja blesses a retail space with Ganesh, kalash at the counter, and first customer symbolic moment. Pandit Mrityunjay Sharma does North Indian dukaan opening in Bengaluru markets and malls with early-morning slot before shutters open to public.
Before the visit, clear a clean floor or table space, stack samagri from the WhatsApp list in one place, and keep drinking water ready for elders. Share gate code, parking notes, and society rules when you message so setup is calm across Bengaluru traffic.
Time at the house: 2–3 hours

Why families book it
Commercial street shops need short vidhi before suppliers arrive with stock.
Blesses trade start; sales targets are not guaranteed.
Elders and children may sit nearby; the pandit pauses for brief Hindi notes so guests know when to offer flowers, ghee, or responses during mantras.
Share gotra, names, and your Bengaluru locality on WhatsApp so travel and samagri are confirmed before the day. The appointment form opens WhatsApp only; this page does not store your message.
