Chandi
चंडी अनुष्ठान
The rite
Chandi anusthan is a multi-day Durga Saptashati program with counted path and havan at home, unlike a single-evening Chandi path on the path list. Nine-day formats are common when Navaratri timing allows.
Time at the house: Nine days typical; shorter counts when office life requires
Pandit Mrityunjay Sharma performs this as a home visit in Bengaluru and nearby towns within about one hundred kilometres. Share your area, gate access, and preferred slot on WhatsApp; the samagri list is sent before the day. This page does not list fees or promise worldly results.
Why families book it
House Chandi lets women join every evening without temple closing times.
Devi worship is strength and discipline; it does not promise victory in court or office politics.
When families ask
- During Navaratri when nine evenings are free
- Before daughter’s wedding for Devi blessing
- After frightening dreams when elders advise Chandi
- When path page is too short but full temple utsav is impossible
- For annual family Devi vow
Days, jap, and havan
Each day: sankalp, Saptashati chapters per plan, jap of Devi mantra, havan on selected days—often day eight and nine. Skanda Mata style breaks help children join day one and last day only.
Red flowers and kumkum dominate samagri; gas stove time for prasad should be booked in family calendar.
Navagraha prayers may close a day; no horoscope reading is sold during Chandi.
