The rite
Hindu marriage (Vivah) is a samskara—a sacred covenant between two families conducted with mantras, fire, and witness of elders, not merely a social event. Pandit Mrityunjay Sharma officiates North Indian wedding rituals at your chosen venue or home in Bengaluru and nearby areas within the usual visit radius. This page covers planning for the core vidhi: from engagement-related prayers through pheras and saptapadi, adapted to your community’s customs. Detailed samagri and day-wise timing are coordinated on WhatsApp; fees are not listed here.
Time at the house: Core ceremony often 3–5 hours; multi-day weddings planned separately
Pandit Mrityunjay Sharma does this at the house in Bengaluru. The fee is not printed on this page. It is sent on WhatsApp with the material list.
Why families book it
Couples book when they want one experienced Vedic priest who can align Kashi-Kalash, var mala, kanyadaan, and agni parikrama without mixing conflicting regional steps. Families also call when a destination wedding was trimmed and they need a proper homa at the Bengaluru residence afterward, or when a court marriage is followed by a traditional blessing at home.
Marriage ritual blesses the union in dharma; it does not guarantee compatibility or prevent future difficulties. Panditji explains each milestone so the couple participates knowingly rather than standing as spectators.
